London Lives, Homes & Gardens

It’s truly wonderful when I get the chance to chat with the owners of the homes I’m asked to photograph — especially when they’re as welcoming as the ones in this Teddington Victorian terrace.  And as it turns out, this older couple had extended their kitchen decades ago and decided to do so once again instead of leaving London.  In addition to the newly built space, the developer Cube helped them design their bespoke garden, complete with tea area, shed, water feature and fantastic borders.  This project proved once again to me that it’s not just possible to retire in London but to thrive in London in one’s later years.
