The day after the Sutton campaigning event, I was asked by Open Britain to shoot an important event that I was told would feature VIPs as well as a host of avid Open Britain supporters of all ages from all over the country. And the venue was new to me — the Electric Ballroom in Camden Town. Normally a music venue, the auditorium became a groundswell of excitement and support for some powerful voices, including a group of cross-party MPs as well a the comedian Andy Parsons, Sir Patrick Stewart, the economist Mariana Mazzacato, the founder of Innocent Drinks, Richard Reed, the head of InFacts, Hugo Dixon the neuroscientist, Professor Malcolm MacLeod as well as young leaders of the For our Future’s Sake campaign. The MPs who spoke passionately included Caroline Lucas, Layla Moran, Chuka Umunna and Anna Soubry. In the audience, I happened to get snaps of Alastair Campbell, Professor A.C. Grayling and the @EUsupergirl, Madeleina Kay. It was a fantastic event and I’d say that the atmosphere was indeed electric with support for a People’s Vote on a final Brexit deal overwhelming.
