Kew Village in the Springtime

London offers photographers a true plethora of opportunities to capture life – both natural and cultural. And one of my very favourite genres is floral photography, particularly at this time of year.  The trees in Kew Village & Kew Gardens right now are bursting with blossoms. You’d be forgiven for thinking you were in a home county village it’s so green, pink, yellow and white.  And yes, I’m an avid Instagram devotee and participant, but I also feel compelled to wander Alexandra Road and Burlington Avenue, among the many other stunning streets of our oh-so-lovely village of Kew with my dslr.

Early spring is about magnolias (and their fantastic wiry branches), tulips and daffodils.  Quickly followed by the cherry trees, bluebells and hydrangeas.  Can’t wait for the roses…
