Got the Country on Lockdown

In early June, my older daughter, by fluke, was able to book a weekend cottage on Airbnb in Devon. So all but Bowie (the cat) bundled ourselves in my little Citroen DS3.  The drive was surprisingly easy and included a fly by of Stonehenge and a Burger King drive through.  Our accommodation — Leveret Cottage at Glebe House near Ivybridge — was perfect.  In three days we packed in more fantastic sites than a year in London.  The break from lockdown was just what we needed.

 

On the afternoon of our arrival, we had a wander behind the house and this is what we found:
