Another of our Pandemic Staycation days out was to East Wittering Beach in Sussex. We’d been planning to go back to our favourite spot at West Wittering, but since we hadn’t booked a parking place, we ended up at its rocky-beached sister. When we arrived just after mid-day, I was a bit unsure that the east would have been as fantastic as all the times we’d been to the west. And though the rocks were large and difficult to tread on and the wind whipped us about for a couple of hours, by around 330 the tide began to go out and a beautiful, sandy beach appeared from the sea. And we ended up having the most glorious time at the seaside.
